Forces Of Nature

A 360° immersive installation for Infocomm ’24, blending generative visuals, spatial sound, and interactive floor projection to evoke the raw power of nature. I contributed TouchDesigner visuals and composited the full projection film for the space.

PROJECT INFO

Forces of Nature was unveiled at Infocomm ’24, India’s premier audiovisual technology exhibition, as Ocupus’s flagship immersive experience . This 9 m × 9 m enclosed installation features seamless projections across walls and floor, enveloping visitors in shifting natural landscapes-from dense jungles and underwater realms to thunderclouds, volcanic interiors, and botanical gardens. The intent was to create a sanctuary-like environment that bridges the gap between today's tech-saturated urban life and our innate bond with nature.

with collaboration with Dennis Fabian Peter and the Ocupus team, I played a key role in bringing Forces of Nature to life. I developed interactive visuals using TouchDesigner that react in real time to audience movement across the sensor-equipped floor, enriching the visitor’s engagement. Additionally, I took charge of compositing the film content for projection, ensuring a cohesive flow between the diverse landscapes and syncing it seamlessly with the ambisonic soundscape and spatial mapping-resulting in an uninterrupted, immersive journey through nature’s elemental forces.
